Nicely designed KRC symbolsEdit

I have added your KRC picture to my UK Calendar. I really like it. Is that OK for you? --- Jpierreg 09:50, 20 Feb 2007 (GMT)

I'm going to butt in here. You don't say specifically that I can see, Jean-Pierre, but from your Wikipedia entries and other online mentions, including what you have recently been adding to your scn-directory wiki, you would appear to be a "churchie", a Scientologist in good standing with the CofS, rather than a covert CofS "front" with full authority from the CofS (like Particlebeam appears to be). If I am wrong, please correct me. You are very welcome to post here--I'm not a racist! But I have a word of warning. Generally, the CofS gets a bit touchy about its trademarks and copyrights being messed with. I have put illustrations of all the CofS trademark designs in Scienowiki in the relevant trademark pages. I don't think there is any problem with that, in terms of "fair use", especially as I used the images on file with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
SR incorporated the trademarked Scn symbol in an illustration of his own. He did give the relevant credit, but he is pushing it a bit, especially when he adds KRC, "the components of CAUSE", which wording is his invention as far as I can tell. All items in articles here are basically released under the GNU Free Documentation License. I believe that I am OK in my fair use of the USPTO illustrations, as those are clearly original and not derived works, and not being released under the GFDL. But when we get into derived works, with non-original wordings attached, we are on shaky ground. SR said he was going to research this area, but has said nothing further that I have seen.
It is polite of you to ask SR for permission to use "his" illustration, J-P, and he in turn may very well be inclined to be polite too and say, "Sure!" But in legal terms, I would think that it is not his permission to give. I don't see that you are paying any attention to copyrights and trademarks at all on your wiki. That is really your affair, but when it impinges on Scienowiki, I am concerned too. Paul 23:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Paul is right JP, you better hold off, I need to revise those images. I am working on reconciling my understanding of KRC with Source. I think I have it wrong... ---Slightlyright 00:51, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

"Might be valdalismEdit

Hi, I saw that you removed my edit because it "felt like vandalism". That was not my intent, I am just new to Wikia, and wiki editing. If I offended, I am sorry.--Aher 23:31, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
